Pixel QI displays

What do you all think about Pixel QI displays?
I have a 10.1 sub-notebook that uses a samsung display (supposedly this replaces that model), and a 250$-300$ a replacement screen that offers a reflective mode is kind of an interesting option. With standard battery I get about 4 hours, with large cell I can get 6-8 with normal backlighting.

They compare it to a kindle in E-ink mode in some of their older photos

Panel vs LCD

Resolution T 1024x600xRGB (transmissive) resolution (normal mode)

Panel vs E-ink

Resolution R 3072x600 (reflective) resolution (desaturated mode)
Appearantly you get 3x the resolution when you enable the "e-paper" mode
