Psychology behind this?

By the way, this is going to be part of new psychological phenomenon.
"What causes people to get addicted to forums?"

Probable guesses:
1. Large number of members and thus high update rate.
2. Members full of life and open hearted.
3. Age group ratios! (Maybe earning population isn't that much part of MR as old and young are, middle ones are busy at jobs?!)
4. Uniqueness of forum being one of its type. (MR is almost unique and expert forum about e-Readers.)
5. Need of society by PC-users.
