Sony did not stick it to anyone regarding prices. If you had looked before the Kindle came out, you would have seen that Sony's book prices were competitive with others. And according to most of the ebook sites, prices are set by the publisher. Either Amazon managed to get the publishers to drop prices or they are losing money.
