rumors, is it true that kindle 3 read pdf passwords files but kindle DXg can not?

I not have "kindle" 3 for test...

anyone can tell me if that's true .. my kindle capture img dx

it is not the last version adobe pdf blocked, but neither....

(ipad can do that... I have not a ipad too)

is It firmware kindle 3 new about it ?
