Oh, yeah - I went a little overboard with saying "any," I guess. I would have figured that out eventually. I prefer a slight margin on my ebooks (mainly just to keep the text out of any shadows that might be thrown by the raised edges).

As long as external header record 113 contains a valid Amazon ASIN number and exth record 501 (cdetype) contains 'EBOK' instead of 'PDOC', I have no trouble syncing "furthest read point" between devices with non-Amazon mobi's.
