I use the Kindle app on my Android phone all the time and it hasn't crashed once. Remember the old saying "Only believe half of what you see and none of what you hear!"

You can make notes on the Kindle4Android app, but they don't transfer over the WhisperSync thing (at least I haven't been able to do it).
