It wasn't misleading, she was stating that she doesn't notice it. I also don't notice the flash. Took me about 5 minutes to get used to it, other people never noticed the flash at all. Try not to lash out at established community members on your first visit to the forum, mmmkay? Oh, wait, if I put a smilie after my statement that makes it all better!

The Kindles used to turn pages a little slower as well, just slow enough that I would get into a rhythm where I'd hit the page button before I was done reading the sentence on the current page. Since the firmware upgrades it's gotten so quick that I no longer do this. Maybe the Nook's update will have a similar outcome.
