I know exactly what you mean . I was using my clunky Palm browser to browse the manybooks.net site for books to direct download onto my phone. Then discovered that they have a QR code for each book! Now I just browse on my PC, snap the QR code with my phone and download the book just like that . There's something surreal about QR codes (in a nice way ).

Since most mobile devices aren't equipped for hassle-free typing (yeah, I'm not a tween with magic texting fingers - how the hell do they do it? ), this is the best way I've found of accessing long urls in mobile browsers. Just use a free service (like Beetagg) and make your own QR code, snap away and woot!

And you thought you were a noob . I bet this is like reading about the discovery of water for the techies here .
