When calibre TAG reader crashes I have a debug window that tells me of the problem. The user has no knowledge about a subtle problem: when this crash happens many books are not added to Calibre and you have to restart it and add the books again avoiding duplicates.
Users should be warned about this problem. I have learnt it over my skin.
