Hello all!

I just got my Kindle 3 and love it! I read a lot of scientific papers with 2 columns. To get around this, I've been copying the text from a PDF, pasting it in Word, saving it as a new PDF (without pictures and columns), and then using Calibre to create a mobi.

Is there any easier way to do this?
