Add me to the list of those who are NOT buying books from any publishers that use DRM no matter what. As for agency pricing, I will pay no more than $6.99 for an ebook - not that I intend to buy many at that price, that's just as high as I'll go. I'm starting to dig into Baen, Smashwords and other like them.
Even if by some miracle DRM is gotten rid of, I still refuse to purchase from big houses because authors are not getting enough of a percentage in royalties. I don't have exact figures, but why authors aren't getting 50% as a minimum is beyond me, but maybe I'm strange. Every now and them I'll run across a post or blog that spells it out and I'm always shocked by what I see.
