But the apps are available in other ways; in one of the early Pandigital Novel reports on how to hack it (reported on, and linked to by Nate The Great) there was a link that let you DL and sideload the K app *after* the Novel was hacked. The way I heard it was that anybody with an Android Cellphone can DL the apps and then copy them to a PC so if you know somebody with an Android phone, butter them up...
Since the IQ is not locked down, the hacking isn't required, as I understand it.
Another way to put it is that if what you want is a color Pocketbook reader you need to do nothing. If you want to go to town adding apps it is up to you to get them; Pocketbook won't get in your way...
So, if you can track down the right apps, PBIQ might just be the first (nearly?) universal reader. Nearly, cause I need to find out if there is a LIT-reading app.
