It can play just about every video format (you will need to reassign each format so that KMPlayer will automatically open instead of WMC, QT, or what ever.)
Since I started using KMPlayer, I've never had a problem viewing MP4, FLV, AVI, WMV, DIX, DIVX, MPEG, MPG, or any other format. And it's completely free with no nag screens!
