Picard decided to remove the plugin after some people complained that the plugin was released closed-source. The dilemma is that on the one hand, Picard is forced to release the plugin closed-source due to non disclosure agreements with Intel, and on the other hand he is forced due to
GPL License restrictions to release all plugins sharing data structures with the main program (BetaPlayer) also under GPL, which implies open-source.
