Wow, I can't believe it, there are two books out there featuring a detective with a tapeworm!!! Unless that book I read about was imaginary of course, though it didn't feel like it at the time.

I don't think this Scottish detective is it, he doesn't sound anything like the description I remember, and I'm pretty sure the one I'm looking for was American.
