I think the Maylong and other inexpensive tablets are OK as long as you are realistic about what you expect from a $100 device. It's a it slow, but if you look at it as a pretty good ebook reader and portable email device it's not bad. On the videos I have tried, the video lags way behind the audio. MP4 files transcoded using default iPhone parameters. I have not had time to fool with trying to get video working. I keep hoping someone will chime in with some ideas on that.
