hello all. I have enjoyed reading your posts. I have been wanting to get a tablet device ever since the Ipad was announced, however I really could not see paying 500.00for it. I have seen other tablets being sold on ebay from Hong Kong and so forth, but was not really sure about getting something from overseas and having it not work and going through the hassle of returning and refunding.

I have seen so many people posting on the net criticizing and blasting these inexpensive tablets. Calling them "crappy" or a "piece of junk", and these are people who haven't even tried the product!

Dont get me wrong, I have an iphone and am very happy with it, although basically I would like something with a bigger screen to watch videos while taking the train to work, and i really dont want to pay 500.00 for it.

I was eagerly awaiting the Samsung Tab to finally hit the states, but then found it was going to cost at least 400.00. I dont need 3g thats why I have the iphone lol.

I ordered the Maylong and cannot wait till it gets here. It's 100.00 bucks. If it comes out of the box "crappy", then I can take it back to Walgreens. If it last for a year, I feel i got my money's worth. I am not expecting some high end tablet than can help me rule the world. I just want a nice device with a good size screen. The wifi, ebook reader itself and any other extras are a plus in my book (tipster, your screenshoots look great!). And for memory and speed, my iphone is about 600mhz with 256 ram, so i really should not see that much of a difference. Thanks to listening to me ramble, thanks for your positive post and long live inexpensive tablets!!
