Sorry I can't give you a direct answer. I can only say that the Herald frequently has problems with its feeds. It's not Calibre's fault.

I've got Calibre set up to download the Herald automatically each morning and to save it in Kindle format. Five or six times per week, everthing's fine. But on other days, all I get is a file with the section headings and nothing else.

The last time that happened was Friday (29th October), The Saturday edition (30th) was OK.

I don't know if this is relevant to your problem. You can try going to the Herald's website and checking that the RSS feed is present.
