If it's between the sony 505 and the cybook gen3, i'd go with the cybook. I haven't seen either of them in real life, so you can take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I think my reasoning is valid. I wouldn't want to be locked into a sony DRM system.
I'm trying to decide between the cybook and the hanlin.
