As I understood the power consumption switching between documents = screen refresh = page turn. Annotations shouldn't consume too much energy since they only change a few pixels. I don't think that anyone can tell how long the battery can last. For example if you are flipping through a textbook to find a paragraph that you know should be next to a certain figure, or go to the next chapter by turning pages, you are going to consume power much faster.
If you are flipping through a book at 1 page turn / second: battery=7000s=<2h
If you spend on average 1minute / page: battery=7000 minutes=117h=4.8 days
If you are planning to sleep, and you reduce the time/day to 8h battery=14.6 days
The time will be reduced by changing the orientation of the page, the font size, zooming, all of which consume energy.
Also you probably wouldn't let your battery go lower than 5% (the more paranoid of us probably wouldn't let it go below 30%).
