Hah! I have a friend from the Middle East who says the same thing.
Nope, not Muslim...Buddhist. One thing about buddhists, we don't have a specific holy day of the week. My temple has public meditation on Tuesday nights, but they don't interfere with writing.
Friday's the night I go out with friends, have dinner, and generally stay out too late, so writing is on hiatus on Friday.
