The JB's screen is certainly not that bad. In fact, it's quite pleasant on the eyes. It really depends on what you expect. If you want a paper-like experience, then neither e-ink, nor JB's LCD can deliver it. The contrast and resolution is not yet there. On the other hand, both passive LCD and e-ink are way better than all the shining computer displays, be it colour LCD, OLED, AMOLED or the old CRT.
