I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Amulet. Mr. Meikle’s ability to tell a story that intertwines different traditions and yet does not seem derivative at all is very impressive. It leaves me wanting to read more about his hero and the predicaments he gets himself into. I give The Amulet a 4 out of 5 and a hearty “Ia! Cthulhu fhtagn!” for a job well done.
