Jack, I don't quite understand the above. Does JBL have an mp3 player? If not, yes it would be hard to use and if so, is there no software in the flashdrive to operate it?
I'm quite happy with the MP3 player in my Jetbook pro. It works well and I use it frequently. The Kindle also has the external speakers that are really nice for quiet listening in the evening . I wouldn't call either of them bad MP3players, though neither have alot of search, playback speed, etc. features.
I have a coworker trying to decide between an Aluratek and Kindle and I don't know the features of the Aluratek or how it operates so can't offer much help except I do like my Kindle and love my Jetbook..(more)
