Hey! I'm Leslie and live in northeast TN. I have a degree in English but am currently a SAHM thinking eventually I would like to get back into the world of editing. I have been married for 14 years and have two kids and two kitties.
As far as reading, I always have three books going - an audio book with my kids (10 yr old daughter, Elizabeth and 9 yr old son, Andrew), an audio book for me while I'm doing housework (makes it so much more enjoyable!
) and a regular old book that I read in the evenings after the kids are in bed. I am in a book club that has opened my life to all genres which I enjoy. Historical fiction is probably my favorite.
I download all my audio books for free from the
READs program that is available through my state. Check it out if you have a TN public library card. I will also use their free EPUB and PDF eBooks once I get my reader. I plan on buying a eBook reader within the next couple of weeks after I make my decision. Since I plan on using this site primarily for freebie-goodness of it, I am heavily leaning toward the Nook (classic).
I hope to get to know some of you better as I visit this site!
