My spouse reads at most a few books per year for pleasure. I, on the other hand, probably read that many in a month, if not more. It helps that I'm a fast reader, but I'm also voracious. This only causes conflict in our relationship, though, when I want to spend money on books. Otherwise, she's pretty content to just leave me be and let me read.
