Hmm. My Kobo's blue button makes all kinds of crackling noises when I touch it (such as making a circular motion over the button)... the glue underneath has apparently come away. I haven't had it actually physically separate from the white chassis around the button yet, though.

I've been holding off exchanging in fear of getting a lemon, but this crackly button is getting irritating. Maybe I'll hold off a while longer to make sure all the non-wifi units are out of the stores in hopes of getting a wifi replacement unit. ;-)

Could someone post a guide to what steps need to be taken when replacing a unit? Obviously, sync the old unit before taking it in for replacement. But should I do anything to clear the unit first, and is there anything to do beyond simply syncing the new unit?
