I'm currently working on a Wyndhamesque, very British, disaster novel THE CREEPING KELP.

Someone at the MOD has been playing God, and has genetically manipulated some seaweed to try to make a defensive, harbour-clogging weapon. Unfortunately they have also used some material from a beast found in the Antarctic on the Peabodie expedition...and now rampant mutated Shuggoths are filling the Thames and heading up river...

30,000 words in and going well. This is my attempt to follow up the success of my last one THE INVASION. I can only hope it does half as well...
