I have 3 kids and over a thousand children’s books, maybe 10 are in black and white. yes children’s books need to be in color because they have PICTURES!
Anyone spend 250 on a wii for family entertainment.? 250 for a replacement of hundreds of magazines and children’s books filling up my house seems like a good deal. Should I even go into text books.
Of course you can choose a different color tablet, laptop whatever to read all these things on but it makes sense for B&N to offer a tablet dedicated to reading.
Do not forget that the subculture of eInk is just that, the average person reads all day on an LCD and wonders what the fuss is about.
