When attempting to “Fetch Metadata from Server” from the “Edit Metadata Information” screen, I have just started getting the following error message. The small screen “Downloading social metadata, please wait…” just prior to the error message is on my screen for several seconds – used to be just a couple of seconds. I don’t think this is a Calibre problem as this procedure used to work fine – I updated from version 0.7.20 to 0.7.24 thinking maybe that would “fix” the problem, but still same thing.
I’m not aware that I’ve done anything to my computer that could cause this, but one never knows… Can you help me with what could be my problem? The 2 books I’ve had problems with are “The Vigilantes” by W.E.B. Griffin, and “The Alpine Decoy” by Mary Daheim. – these are the last 2 books I’ve added to Calibre. The format of the books is ePub.
Thanks, Ginny Meyers
