I agree, advanced is too broad a term. Do you mean - fastest page turns, longest battery life, highest screen resolution/contrast, back lit/front lit, largest/smallest screen, lightest, most memory, color/greyscale, most formats read natively, plays MP3's/videos, runs apps, replaceable battery, solar/fuel cell powered...

Not knowing your criteria, I'd say the most advanced e-readers are actually tablet PC's (iPad or other).
