I thought about Hashes for duplicates too, but then I discovered that when you open an ePUB in Calibre, Calibre actually makes changes to the ePUB itself, therefore chances are the Hash vallues will change. So if you would add a ePub, open it with the Calibre viewer, close it, then add the same ePUB again, Hashes will be different.
CRC is different as it checks the file's integrity, thats mostly used by copying.
