After reading the forums here for weeks, I finally just ordered the JBL from NewEgg. Now I have to go carefully read the thread about how to prepare for its arrival, formatting the SD card, etc.

Also, you nice people turned me on to the Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries, and I got some a while back and I've been using them in my camera and a couple of other devices. They're day and night different from the last time I tried rechargeables - I'm amazed at the way they last! I have a "good" charger coming, also from your recommendations. You all have been amazingly informative, and I thank you! Now all I have to do is figure out how to use the reader, how to use Calibre, etc. Sometimes I wish I could insert an SD card into my brain to just transfer knowledge to there...sigh
