Unhappy It is official, Arnold Bailey of Baen Books has retired

Arnold is solely responsible for getting me into reading ebooks, first on my PC and later the availability of Baen Books drove me to buy my first ebook reader. He is a true pioneer in the ebook venue. His work with Jim Baen has lead to the only major publisher supported free online library, the only publisher to publish first run ebooks released on the same day (and often a bit earlier than) the hard bound books, and the only major publisher to publicly eschew DRM. He was a member here and he will be missed, I only hope that Baen Publishing can continue his good work.
