-iBookstore- "His Niji" Realistic Character based Story-Telling

Hey everyone, I'm Jeana Laurie! "His Niji" is available on the iBookstore, Kindle, and soon Nook.

Anyway to clear this up "Niji" means "Rainbow" in Japanese.

{Story Summary}

The reader sees life through the eyes of Ahya Hatsu, a twenty year old writer. But the story begins with Ahya listening to a discourse, about a man named Hitome Ashton. Hitome was born disabled, never having the ability to walk. He was known as a painter both by trade, and heart. This was because he chose, to see the world as the artistic work that it is. He inspired many, and his works became highly regarded. But it was one day that he chanced upon the scene of a nightmare, a small girl was being abducted at gunpoint. He rushed to her aid, slowing the man until help could arrive. The small girl was unharmed, but for that to be so, Hitome gave his life. Years later, in honor of him, Hitome’s elder brother proudly opened: ‘Hitome’s United Academy of Art.’ Ahya is invited to attend, which she does. But with the painful burden, of being the small girl Hitome saved all those years ago. Ahya doesn’t plan to find happiness in her life, or even false contentment.

But as she learns about her fellow class-mates, whom have their own scars, and joys, she for the first time grows to know the beautifully hopeful outlook Hitome held. A young man by the name of Cliff, is among those in her class. He is a skilled violinist, but has little passion for music, as he is locked in his own personal grief. However, after reading the first novel to be written by Ahya, he is touched deeply, seeming to derive a new reason to pursue music. After he and Ahya meet, a subtle friendship forms, as they both are captivated by, and deeply respect the other’s works of art. Time and trial gracefully weave their hearts closer, as they realize a love for one another.
A love that seems unhindered by the past. Unknown to them though, is the undeniable fact, that Ahya is the small girl Hitome gave his life for, and that Cliff, is his son.

Thanks!
