			I purchased a Kobo in August, 2010 in Canada.  It worked for only 2 months before it died.  I tried the reset function but it still wouldn't turn on. 
I phoned Customer Care and they did offer to "mail" a replacement to me...but only in Canada.  Kobo's are sold throughout the US and I did contact some places to see if they would do a replacement for me....but they don't do replacements apparently.   
I explained this to Customer Care and they forwarded a request to another department that perhaps would be able to help me.  I did receive an auto-respond email stating that they would be in touch with me within 72 hours.....that was 20 days ago!
