Hello all:

I am a new member from the Pittsburgh, PA area. I have a Sony PRS-700. Other than the glare

it is a good device. I do a lot of traveling and having an eReader allows me to take many books without all the constraints of space. The PRS-700 has been very reliable in the almost 2 years I have had it.

I contacted Sony about possible firmware upgrades or possible trade-ins when the new models were coming out and was told no in both cases. It is a shame that they took such a hard stand but I can sort of understand their position since they are in the market to make money.

After reading the reviews on the new PRS-650 I will probably purchase one to replace my PRS-700.

Hope to communicate more about Sony eReaders and software management tools like Calibre.
