Nook 2: Possible Pixel Qi Display?

Since I saw the "leaked" photo of the Nook 2, I did some research on Pixel Qi screens.

What I found was this page with a Pixel Qi screen that has been available for a whole to allow DIYers to change their netbook screens into a Pixel Qi screen.

Here is part of the description: "This one-of-a-kind, plug-and-play 10.1-inch display offers two modes--an easy-to-read, real color, multi-media mode or a crisp, low power e-reader mode. The sunlight-ready, e-reader mode makes it easy to use outdoors."

I may be reaching here. However, wouldn't it be cool if the Nook 2 was a 10.1 inch touchscreen tablet running Android with a screen that could switch from color mode to e-reader mode?

Maybe it's just wishful thinking. However, since the technology is out there, it would not be hard to design.
