The world wasn't saddened by the passing of the carriage, the ice truck or the pocketwatch. Printed books, when they become rare items, will simply be rare items. The world won't be any less for having moved on to better things.

Heh... you make them sound like they're painful, but passingly effective! I happen to think they are great, and have no need for a dedicated device.
