Hi, Mick!

I just bought a Touch myself (it's in transit to me from the other side of the country). Do you have a reader program, such as Stanza or iReader, installed? You'll need some reader program that can handle Word files (which I don't think iReader does, and am just about certain Stanza doesn't), or have Calibre convert your files to a format your reader of choice can handle.

According to my limited Google-fu, if you really insist on keeping your files in Word .doc format, there's an app called MegaPhone, but according to the site I found this mentioned on, it's $19.95. Other choices are Documents To Go (which I got along decently with in its Palm incarnation) ($9.99 for the base edition, $16.99 for Premium), or Quickword (at $8.99).
