Hi, my name is Mick and I am an avid reader. I just bought an iPod Touch and I have been successful getting my ebooks onto it. I have tried Calibre and I watched the introductory video 3 times and I still can't get Calibre to send to my device.
I have all of my ebooks in Word format as that is probably the easiest to reformat to any reader. In the video, it shows a completely different screen that I have in 0.7.24 and I do not have a send to device button. I know that formats evolve and you have to keep up. But... am I missing something?
I have edited the metadata and resaved the file and sent it to my iPod using the iTunes program. However it does not have the correct library entry, but has the anonymous author instead of the book name on one line and the author.
I'm sorry that my introductory thread has grown to a help session. But I can't seem to figure it out.
