thanks for the info guys,
Now that i know where to look, I can't believe I missed seeing the time!
So now that little bit is squared away for me.... oftentimes while I'm a long haul flight the reader is my most convenient clock to look at so I'm happy that it's now available with one button press.

Regarding 505 weight, at first I thought there was no real noticeable difference but I agree, on second review (after removing the cover of my old 505) the 650 IS noticeably lighter than the 505.
