The thing with color e-ink is you just know the first gen is going to suck. Shudder. I just hope they'll have a cheaper grayscale version as well.
More than colors, I want greater bit depth (can we at least go to 8?), higher res, like at least 300dpi, and of course better contrast. To me everything else beside the screen is secondary.
