Xenophon, I considered that. My proposal would eliminate the concept of pirating regarding the works of a deceased author.
I would not use the term
non-profit. I used the term
gross income. The heirs would get cash for any book sold, the movie rights, the tee shirts, etc. But an internet maven who released an eBook for free would not owe the heir anything because he was not paid anything.
