I have never been sure that I have got this aspect of the JBL's functioning down
correctly. First, keep in mind that there have been many changes because of the
change in reading programs and their settings in the various firmware releases.

What I am guessing as the way it works, based on very limited experimentation, is
as follows:

1. It depends on the file format.

2. It depends on the construction of the file and any metadata.

3. It depends on the construction of the file's name, for some formats.

4. It may also depend on the file format of the memory (SD card &/or internal memory)

For .txt files like the pre-loaded ebooks, a special character (the pound sign "#")
is used to separate the author and title in the file name.

For the other file formats, I have had mixed results, but at times it depends on the
Metadata and other times on the construction of the file name. I have not found a
consistent answer that works all the time, for any format. (But I haven't spent a lot
of time on this issue.)

The 0.16e version of the firmware with the Adobe Reader Mobile appears to be using
other (embedded?) fonts for the .epub, as they are different from the sans serif JBL
fonts.

Luck;
Ken
