As long as your books do not have DRM, you can do a conversion from ePub to ePub in Calibre. (This is assuming your books are already ePub books of course.) When you choose to convert make sure the input is set as ePub and the output is also set as ePub. Then, under the structure detection tab, there is a checkbox for "Insert metadata as page at start of book." If you check this option, Calibre will insert the description at the beginning of each book.
While you're at it, you can play with tweaking margins and font sizes to your liking as well.
Note--I'm using Calibre 7.20--I'm pretty sure this works the same in newer versions as well.
