Well, a couple of weeks back I was having issues where my wireless connectivity would just go away. I'd have to reset my router to get it back. That seemed to eventually go away but then for the last couple of days I've been having "dropouts" - I listen to music on line and it would just stop and then (sometimes, sometimes not) restart. The same sort of behavior with websites/pages as well, sometimes they would not load (or be really slow) and other times work fine. I updated the software in my router (D-Link Dir655) but no evident change. When I'd reset the Router it would seem to be better for a bit and then start in again with the dropouts......so.......I came to the conclusion that the wireless router was likely bad. I stopped at MicroCenter and agonized over whether to get the same router, a more expensive one or a different brand....ended up buying the same one and brought it home. Figured I'd get on line and see it happen, then swap out the routers..... well.....not one dropout since yesterday afternoon....I have not even taken the new router out of the shopping bag. Seems pretty clear at this point that it was friggin' COMCAST again!
