mgmueller - thanks for the info. I should have been more specific: the 3G will allow me to download books. But in addition to this, I want to be able to take it boating on the west coast of BC AND access my webmail, or even DOWNLOAD my email. I was told that the service providers for 3G in Canada are so cheap that maybe this wouldn't be quite as easy as "open the box and it works". Any thoughts on that?
