Actually, we can thank the European Union for mandating a standard to eliminate or reduce the landfill component of propriety ac charger plugs and voltages. Has Apple's new stuff joined the standards or are they still totally proprietary in plugs/cables/adapters?
The new Blackberry's use the new micro usb. And I've now got a collection of "resize" adapters - micro to mini and mini to micro. Crackberry.com sells a micro to mini 1" adapter.
And monoprice user, here, too. I got a 50 foot hdmi for about that price. Talk about weight wanting to unseat a cable - hdmi flunks that test.
