My last real book purchase was on Sunday 17th October. It was "The Party Thieves" by Barry Cassidy. This is a report by a senior journalist about the appalling political shenanigans in Australia over the last few years. I bought the real book because it won't show up as an ebook for years, if ever, and I really wanted to read it right now.

My last ebook purchase was on Friday 22nd October (1am this morning). It was "Philippine Fever" by Bruce Cook. This is a crime thriller. I tried to buy the real book in the local shops when it was first published, but couldn't find it. I just happened to see it in the Amazon Kindle store late last night.

So, whether I buy a real book or an ebook, depends a lot on availability. I prefer to buy ebooks though, because of the convenience factor. But I still buy real books.
